ACM/EIGSCC Symposium On Smart Cities and Communities
In collaboration with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Emerging Interest Group (EIG) on Smart Cities and Communities (SCC) we will be hosting a Technical Papers Symposium. This Symposium will provide a leading venue for the presentation of the highest-quality original research, groundbreaking ideas, and compelling insights on future trends in Smart City Technology and Deployment.
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Papers We are interested in cross-disciplinary papers with applications in smart cities and communities, smart infrastructure, Internet of Things, and technical work in computer science. Papers that cross disciplines can be difficult to publish in traditional domain-specific venues; this Symposium specifically requests submissions of those papers.
Process: Abstracts are 250 words long and are due by March 19th with a response to you by March 26th. If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to submit a paper. Papers are 6-8 pages in standard two-column ACM format, are due by May 15th and will undergo an editorial review.
- Posters We are interested in cross-disciplinary posters presenting methods and systems at or above Technology Readiness Level 3. Posters should exhibit real results on data from smart cities and communities, smart infrastructure, or the Internet of Things. Please submit a draft poster or 250 word abstract describing your poster by March 19th. We will respond by March 19th. Final posters are due at the time of presentation at the conference.
